Hold on to your hats people! Things are getting serious. Like with the previous books in the series, PERFECT picks up the story right where FLAWLESS left off. If you have been disappointed by a book series in the past that dwindled in excitement, be assured that the PRETTY LITTLE LIARS series isn’t going to let you down.
The story continues to follow Hanna, Spencer, Aria, and Emily as they attempt to find out who keeps sending them threatening messages and exposing their deepest, darkest secrets to their friends and family. The police renew their efforts in the investigation of Alison’s death and begin to question the girls about the night she disappeared again. A video that Aria took while they were all still friends is leaked to the media and leads Aria to discover the secret Ali was keeping from all of them. Spenser begins therapy in order to deal with the stress of everything and discovers a horrible secret as well. Hanna, however, receives the biggest clue and actually knows who the killer is by the end of the book, but is unable to tell anyone because of a terrible accident that leaves her in the balance between life and death.
Personal issues escalate for each of the girls too. Emily has to do more self searching about her feelings for Maya. Spenser has to deal with the aftermath of turning in her sister’s papers as one of her own. Hanna becomes shunned by her best friend and stresses over the fact that she is putting on weight and Aria finds her feelings for Ezra aren’t as resolved as she thought they were. Through every new development “A” is there taunting and threatening.
By the end of PERFECT it doesn’t seem like it can get any worse. I’m sure Sara Shepard has more surprises in store for us in the next installment of this wonderfully, suspenseful series. UNBELIEVABLE is due to come out in March 2008.
I luv this series! I think that one policeman guy (who’s dating Hanna’s mom, or something) killed Alison. That would be the older guy she was dating. When does it come out?

Maya because she moved into Allison’s old room and could have read her diary about all those girls. And Melissa for obvious reasons. I think Spencer hurt Allison, but I don’t think she killed her. I think after Spencer went inside, someone else came and killed Allison. I think whoever it is has been doing all the killings and stuff in the woods.
I know…I think too much.
I can’t waitt for Unbelievable!

I think that the Pretty Little Liars series is the best books that I have ever read, honestly. I can absolutely not wait to read the next book “Unbelievable”, soon to come out in March 2008. The author, Sara Shepard, is also a terrific, young and hip author!
this series of books are great they always have me on my toes

Spencer killed alison by accident. she pushed her and alison fell into the hole and hit her head on a rock and died. Spencer has somthing wrong with her brain so she can’t remember.
it comes out may 27th. i can’t wait!! i think spencer and melissa are a and they are kind of working together. this amnesia thing is interesting though.

Jenna, because she is the only one -besided Toby- who knows about the ‘Jenna Thing’.
Melissa, because I think she always snoops around the girls to see whats going on, and was scared that Alison was seeing Ian.
Maya because she could have all of Alisons old diaries and knows everything.
I think that Spencer pushed Alison in the hole, and Melissa helped Spencer clean up and everything, since she knew Alison was dating her boyfriend Ian, secretly. Or Ian and Melissa both killed Alison, without Spencer!
I think it’s Maya. Spencer doesn’t have an A in her name. Melissa is definitely a possiblity too. But if it were Jenna how would she know that all these things were going on, she would have to have help

ALL of ya’ll are wrong. Alison had a twin sister, Courtney, that was mentally challenged and she pretended she was Alison all the time so when it was time for Courtney to be sent back to the mental hospital, she pretended to be Ali and the real Ali was sent to the mental hospital. the real Ali snuck out and came back to Rosewood and killed Courtney (who was pretending to be Ali at this time). The 1st “A” is Mona because when Maya moved into Ali’s old house, she found her diary that contained all of the girls’ secrets. But later in the books when Mona dies, the real Ali comes into the picture and becomes “A”.
