I wanted to read a lot more than I did. I only finished 113 books this year. Hopefully next year I can beat that number. In 2009 I plan to make the following changes to my reviews:
1) I will put the publisher and release date in the post.
2) I will add a link to Amazon for the book.
For those of you who follow my blog I want to say thank you. The number of visits has been increasing each month with December breaking all records. I had 15,300 visits in December 2008 and I hope the numbers continue to grow. I enjoy sharing information about young adult books. Like I tell the kids at school (I’m a middle school librarian), one of the best ways to find a good book to read is listen to peer recommendations. That is why I love book blogs so much. Goodreads is also a great place to share book information. For those of you that haven’t checked Goodreads out yet, get over there right now and start logging your books. Here is my profile link – add me as a friend while you are there.

Happy 2009!
Great list, I’ve read a few from your list and I’ll definitely use some of your other favorites for the YA challenge I joined.
Hello,
I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for having such an amazing blog. I found your blog while searching for YA book information, and adore it. Your reviews are great and I get to find out about the new up and coming authors and books.
I love to read, but began reading YA literature on behalf of my 13yr old godchild. She is a very shy young girl and did not have many interests besides playing on her gameboy. I knew in my heart that if she had an amazing book then it would open up her world to reading, and I was right. It all began with Twilight and her reading pile has gone non-stop since then. It is wonderful because we can bond over the books we love.
Presently, she is hooked on the Immortal Instrument series and cannot wait for City of Glass. I keep telling her that she will have to wait until April, but patience is not one of her virtues. LOL!!
Thanks again for a great blog and keep up the great work.
Nancy
Hey
I was just wandering if it would be possible for you to put the uk release dates of the books in the reviews as this would be very helpful.
Loving the blog, it has introduced me to alot of new and brilliant authors, thank you
