I’m proud of my reading this month. I knew I needed to get as many in as I could in January since I’ll be starting my General Exam questions this semester. Since I am so close to starting my dissertation I’ll be losing some free time. I hope it doesn’t cut into my “for pleasure” reading very much. I do most of my reading at night before bed, so hopefully I can still keep up the same pace.
Here is my January Reading Log:
1. SUCH A PRETTY GIRL by Laura Wiess (Jan. 1, 2009)
2. DEADLY LITTLE SECRETS by Laurie Faria Stolarz (Jan. 3, 2009)
3. BETWIXT by Tara Bray Smith (Jan. 8, 2009)
4. LORD OF MISRULE by Rachel Caine (Jan. 11, 2009)

I am about to read The Knife of Never Letting Go. I am pretty excited!
I read Looks but came out not very impressed. I could never figure out what the book was trying to say! Alas.
My favorite was probably The Graveyard Book. I stayed up hours and hours after I should have been sleeping to finish. It’s the first Gaiman book I’ve loved without reservation.
