Cassandra Clare, author of the Mortal Instruments series, is writing a fourth book to add to the already trilogy. THE CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS will follow Simon’s experiences as he attempts to manage life as a vampire. Here is the synopsis:

Simon Lewis is having some trouble adjusting to his new life as a vampire, especially now that he hardly sees his best friend Clary, who is caught up in training to be a Shadowhunter—and spending time with her new boyfriend Jace. Not to mention that Simon doesn’t quite know how to handle the pressure of not-quite-dating two girls at once. What’s a daylight-loving vampire to do? Simon decides he needs a break and heads out of the city—only to discover that sinister events are following him. Realizing that the war they thought they’d won might not yet be over, Simon has to call on his Shadowhunter friends to save the day — if they can put their own splintering relationships on hold long enough to rise to the challenge.
For me, this is wonderful news. I absolutely love this series and I think Cassandra Clare is wonderful. I’m already excited about the prequels coming our way.

Love the first 3 books just finished the third one City of Glass!!! Best book I have ever read!!!! Can’t wait to see if anything else happens between Jace and Clary!!! Do they get married to they have kids does Jonathan come back did he die!!! What about Simon it can’t be that easy for him does the other vampires come after him!??!?!? I know I know you get it!!! Lol!!! Hurry date get here so I can buy that book!!!

thank gosh theres another book; now i can finally sleep. ahhh…..wonder what trouble simon goes through and which girl he choosed?? Shadowhunter or Warewolf Personally; i would choose Isabelle. Mostly because Isabelle doesnt have to turn into an animal to defend herself & cuz shes had ALOT of training. yeahh….hope simon chooses Isabelle over Mia.

Jace is my book Edward (not robert pattinson) He is my Taylor Lautner I love him!!!!! I find that the last book of a series always seems to be messed up including a few of my favorites, I hope Cassandra Clare doesnt turn this series into a beautiful beginning and horrible finish.

omg i looooooooooooooooooooooooooooove this series! iam soooooo not kidding! alll books find a special place in my heart when i become the main character, but this one was one of the most responsive in that kind of feeling. whenever clary was sad so was i and i only got happy untill she got happy! maybe i have emotional problems or somthing but either way i absolutely love this series! i was totally bummed that it was a triology series but now that ive learned theres more, im gonna due a bunch more chores to get a bunch of money so i can go get these life changing fantastic stories! i cant wait!

oh lord i just literally finished city of glass. It was absolutely wonderful. But it is so sad to know we will not be seeing as much love between clary and jace in the 4th book. i am hell excited to read it. Team jace all the way through. I think i hav fallen in love with him myself!
