About the Blog:

Karin’s Book Nook started in March 2007.  The purpose of the blog is to spread the word about young adult literature.  I use this platform to share reviews of books I read, news about upcoming releases, information about authors, and contests/giveaways.  You’ll find a variety of genres represented on the blog, but honestly, it will probably be heavy on sci-fi/fantasy.  I welcome comments on each post and about the blog in general.  Please feel free to email me at karinlibrarian@gmail.com.

My name is Karin and an Asst. Professor at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. I teach in the Library Science Department and love preparing people to be school librarians. I split my time between Oklahoma where I live with my husband and adorable Chihuahua Max and Huntsville where I work part of the week.
